Terms & licence

These terms cover the audiomaxxing website, account and software licence. Your checkout and receipt identify the seller of your purchase and the applicable transaction terms.

Who we are

Your software licence

We grant the account holder a non-exclusive licence to install and use the purchased software, including to make and release commercial music. The software and its sound-processing data remain our property; your recordings, compositions and rendered masters remain yours.

• Loud & Proud — €49 once: a perpetual licence for version 1.x, including 1.x updates, on up to three of your computers. A future major version is not included unless its offer says otherwise.
• All Access — €9.99 a month or €99 a year: access to every released audiomaxxing plugin and new releases while your subscription is active, on up to three of your computers.
• Free trial: 14 days on one computer, once per computer and email address per product. No payment card is required and the trial does not become a paid subscription automatically.

Do not share or sell your activation credentials, licence files or the software's protected sound data, or use one account to provide licences to other people. Contact support about a licence transfer. Nothing here restricts rights that applicable law makes non-excludable, including permitted interoperability or backup activities.

Prices and delivery

Our advertised euro prices include VAT where applicable. Checkout shows the final amount, tax treatment and any local-currency conversion before you pay. Digital purchases are sold through Link using Stripe Managed Payments, under the payment terms displayed there.

Your entitlement is created after payment is confirmed, and we email activation instructions to the checkout email. Some payment methods take longer to confirm. A checkout return page alone does not confirm payment. Receipts and invoices come from Link. Contact support if a confirmed payment has not appeared in your account.

Subscription renewal and cancellation

The interval you select is charged in advance and renews automatically: €9.99 every month or €99 every year, unless a different amount is agreed and displayed at checkout. We will give advance notice of changes that affect a future renewal, with the opportunity to cancel before that renewal.

Sign in to your account and choose Manage billing on the relevant licence to cancel renewal, change payment details or view invoices. You can also manage purchases through Link. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent its charge; the billing portal confirms the effective date. When cancellation is scheduled for the end of a paid period, access continues until that date. Cancellation does not itself request a refund for a previous charge.

A failed renewal does not extend the paid period. The plugin normally allows up to 14 days after the last paid period to resolve payment problems; an ended or revoked subscription can stop sooner. When access ends, the plugin requires a valid licence to continue processing. Keep rendered exports of work you need to retain.

Activation, seats and offline use

Activation opens your browser so you can approve your computer using an emailed sign-in link. Online licences check their entitlement periodically and need an internet connection to refresh. A perpetual online activation normally has up to 30 days of offline use between successful refreshes.

For a permanently offline studio computer, a perpetual licence can receive a computer-bound offline file through your account. It uses one of your three seats. Move ordinary online seats in your account; contact support to move a permanent offline seat. Trials and All Access do not offer permanent offline files.

Refunded or disputed payments may result in the related licence being revoked. Contact support if you believe a restriction is wrong. We do not acquire rights to your music through activation.

Compatibility and updates

Check the download's platform notes and test the free trial in your DAW before buying. The macOS build targets macOS 11 or later and AU/VST3 hosts on Apple Silicon and Intel. Only installers actually listed on the download page are available. We do not advertise AAX support. Future operating systems and DAW versions may require an update.

We provide updates required by applicable consumer law and the updates included in your offer. Install relevant updates and keep backups of your sessions. New features or major upgrades beyond your offer are not automatically included.

Refunds, problems and your rights

See refunds and withdrawal for how to withdraw where that right applies or report faulty software. A trial, download, activation or these terms do not by themselves waive statutory rights. Legal remedies for digital content that does not conform to the contract remain available.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law. Please contact us with a problem so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

Applicable law and changes

These software and website terms are governed by Cyprus law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protection or court rights available in your country of habitual residence. The merchant's separate checkout terms govern the sale to the extent stated there.

We may update these terms for future use and purchases. A change will not retrospectively remove rights already paid for. We will provide notice where a change to an ongoing service requires it.
